Emily & Zach were such a wonderful couple to work with. We first met at their engagement session with their darling pup – Pwace. We took all their pictures at Jacobsburg State Park, walked along the river and even got lost in the woods for a bit. We took photos until there was no more light even left and I knew that their wedding day was going to be something special!
I was not wrong! The Glasbern Inn is tucked into the hills of Fogelsville, PA, not far from Allentown. However, you feel like you’re in the wilderness of the Poconos. The Inn is set up like a campus, with all different shapes and sizes of buildings scattered up down the hills. Emily and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the Garden Cottage at the base of the property, where I was met with some pretty amazing details that told the story of Emily and Zach, and set the theme of the day. The colors all came together perfectly to pair with the warm autumn day, oranges & greens, mixed with touches of burgundy.
The whole day ran seamlessly, thanks to all the hard working staff at Glasbern Inn! We had plenty of time for Emily and Zach alone, where they could enjoy being together for portraits and also getting a majority of their “must-have” shot list completed before their ceremony. Their ceremony took place on the patio outside the Wine Cellar, directly above a pond, with the setting sun behind the trees and rustic buildings.
Emily and Zach made sure their pup, while also in attendance at the wedding, was in full feature. From getting into the detail shots, taking portraits with Mom and Dad to laying by their side for the ceremony. He definitely was a big part of the day.
The fun continued on through the night with dancing, great food and drinks that ended with a surprise Ice Cream truck from Emily to cap their special night off.
From a photographer’s point of view, this is the perfect place! What a dreamy location to share vows with each other, witnessed by family and friends. Emily and Zach, we are so happy for you! The wedding of your dreams was worth the wait, and we are so glad we could celebrate with you! Congratulations!
